The Mystic Chorale is a non-profit, volunteer-run, non-audition community chorus based in Arlington; 175—250 singers; SATB

Repertoire
We sing three seasons, exploring through song the musically rich and diverse cultures of the world. Fall and Spring season themes vary, ranging from folk to world music to Broadway to spirituals and the blues; the winter season is dedicated to Gospel.

Performances
We perform two concerts (Saturday night, Sunday afternoon) per season- in November, February, May.

Rehearsals
Tuesdays 7:30-9:30 PM at First Parish Church, 630 Mass. Ave. in Arlington (spring and fall seasons are 10 weeks long; Gospel season is 8 weeks)

Auditions: No – we welcome all who love to sing!

The Mystic Chorale presents its annual Gospel concert in February. Led by award­-winning gospel director Jonathan Singleton, the 250­-voices­-strong chorale and 5-piece band present two joyful and spirit-filled performances featuring eclectic music rooted in the African American gospel tradition.
