SSAA, 40-60 voices, concert choir open to members of the MIT and Harvard communities (broad interpretation) and a limited number of guests.
Wide range of styles, from medieval to contemporary, including both sacred and secular music. Emphasis on music written originally for women’s or treble voices.
Two concerts each year, a holiday concert held early to mid December and a spring concert, typically early to mid May. Accompaniment may include piano, organ, small chamber orchestra, or varied instrumental ensembles.
Wednesday evenings, mid September through, typically, mid May, 7:15 pm to 9:30 PM. Room 10-340, MIT (in the main MIT building complex)

The Chorale is seriously committed to music making, but also fosters fellowship through post-rehearsal refreshment sessions and occasional social gatherings.
