MIT Cambridge Chinese Choral Society (MIT CCCS)

Dr. Yufen Yen, Music Director

From Broadway musicals to pop, classic hymns to gospel, Mandarin to German, CCCS has been bringing multicultural music to the greater Boston since 1992. Today, we number over 40 singers and we hold two concerts each year for the general public. Our repertoire spans several languages, cultures and aesthetics. It has always been our pleasure to bring diverse music to a multifaceted community.

Under the artistic leadership of Music Director Dr. Yufen Yen, our repertoire covers a wide spectrum of music from traditional Chinese songs, European classical religious hymns, Broadway musicals, Taiwanese aboriginal pieces, contemporary world music arrangements, to popular music.

We view our concerts as an important vehicle to introduce Chinese, Taiwanese and other cultural music to the Greater Boston communities. CCCS holds at least two performances in May and December every year. In addition, there are several performances in the community each year.

Friday’s 8pm – 10pm, MIT room 4-270
