Metropolitan Chorale of Brookline

A 100 voice SATB choral ensemble accompanied by prominent professional instrumentalists and soloists, including a quartet of Artists in Residence

A challenging and diverse repertoire from classical masterworks to contemporary and new music

We will perform 4 concerts for the 2015-2016 Season including one performance in November, two in March and one in May. The repertoire will include: Rossini’s ‘Petite messe solennelle’, Vaughan Williams’ ‘Dona nobis pacem’, Bach BWV 21, ‘Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis’ and Bernstein’s ‘Mass’. Selected members will join the Boston Pops, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, to sing a series of holiday concerts throughout New England.

The combined voices of the Metropolitan and Commonwealth Chorales present Verdi's titanic masterpiece on Sunday, November 11th at 2pm.
