Exploring a wide range of repertoire, from choral-orchestral to a cappella works.

2018–19, 79th Season: 3-concert series in Sanders Theatre, Cambridge, and Old South Church, Boston. Music Director Kevin Leong will conduct Mozart’s “Requiem” and Michael Schachter’s “Uriel” (2016) on November 10; Rutter’s “Gloria” and American and British music for chorus, organ, and brass on March 3; and Handel’s “Utrecht Jubilate” and “I Will Magnify Thee, O God” with music of Bach, Lotti, and Purcell on period instruments on March 18. Annual “Messiah” Sings on December 14 and 15 and Summer Sings on 6 Tuesday evenings are open to all. Educational/outreach efforts.

Tuesday evenings, 7:30-10 pm. Beth El Temple Center, 2 Concord Avenue, Belmont, MA (near Fresh Pond Circle, Cambridge)

Auditions: Yes. Re-auditions are required every 3 years. *** UPDATE—PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE: The rehearsal on September 11 will take place at All Saints’ Church in Belmont (17 Clark Street, Belmont, MA 02478).

Join choral enthusiasts from around New England for weekly open sings led by Masterworks Chorale Music Director Kevin Leong and guest conductors in an informal, air-conditioned setting befitting the summer season. The Masterworks Chorale Summer Sings feature accomplished soloists and expert piano accompaniment.  They’re a great way to prepare for the coming concert season, to put finishing touches on music you’re studying, or just to keep your voice in shape over the summer.
