Lexington Pops Chorus

Community Chorus of 70 to 80 members, SATB

Choral repertoire of classical from Old Masters to Contemporary Composers, jazz, blues, folk music, Broadway, American traditional.

Concerts in January and May. First half of a typical concert is classical; second half includes Broadway medley and selection of American traditional and other short pieces. Guest soloists and musicians.

Rehearsals are on Tuesdays, 7:30-9:30 pm, Hancock Church, 1912 Massachusetts Avenue, on the Green in Lexington, MA. The first two rehearsals of each semester are open to all voices.

The Lexington Pops Chorus currently enjoys the enthusiasm of 70 members from over 20 area towns. Two free open rehearsals will be held September 5th and 12th at 7:30 pm, Clarke Hall, Hancock Church, 1912 Mass Ave. Lexington.  Auditions are not required but singers should be able to read music and stand for performances.
