70-voice SATB choir composed of members and friends of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities

Wide variety of European and American music, both a cappella and accompanied, from the Baroque through the 20th century, as well as new works by living composers

Our 2013-14 season includes three concerts, featuring “Cantata Misericordium” (Britten) and “Berliner Mass” (Pärt) on November 24th at Church of the Covenant; “Annelies: Diary of Anne Frank” (Whitbourn) on March 30th at Sanders Theatre; “Jesu Meine Freude” (Bach) and “Dixit Dominus” (Zelenka) on June 1st at Church of the Covenant.

Time: Sunday (occasionally Monday) evenings from 6:00 to 9:00
Place: Church of the Covenant at 67 Newbury Street in Boston

Coro Allegro, Boston’s LGBTQ+ and allied classical chorus, and Artistic Director David Hodgkins present America/We Need to Talk. Voices of poets and African American composers call for dialogue, justice, and affirmation that Black lives matter, in a concert dedicated to the newly opened National Memorial for Peace and Justice. The Heritage Chorale of New Haven and Director Jonathan Q.
