The Concord Chorus, conducted by Kevin Leong, comprises about 110 singers from Concord, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities and performs several concerts of choral-orchestral and smaller works each season.
The repertory of the Concord Chorus encompasses music from the 16th century to the present. This season’s concerts include John Rutter’s “Gloria” with professional orchestra and music of William Byrd, Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Gabriel Fauré, and Morten Lauridsen.
This season’s concerts will be Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 2 and 5 pm (Winter Holiday Concerts); and Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 8 pm (Rutter Gloria).
Rehearsals are held Mondays from 7:30 to 10 pm in Trinity Episcopal Church’s Parish Hall in Concord, Massachusetts (81 Elm Street, Concord, MA 01742).

Auditions for all voice parts will be held during two open rehearsals on Mondays, September 9 and 16, 2019, from 7:30 to 10 pm in Trinity Episcopal Church’s Parish Hall (81 Elm Street, Concord, MA 01742). The ten-minute audition consists of scales, ear and pitch memory exercises, and sight-reading in order to evaluate voice, ear, and reading abilities. A prepared piece is not required, but prior musical experience is expected.
