The Concord Chorus, conducted by Kevin Leong, comprises about 110 singers from Concord, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities and performs several concerts of choral-orchestral and smaller works each season.
The repertory of the Concord Chorus encompasses music from the 16th century to the present. This season’s concerts include Haydn’s “Lord Nelson Mass” with professional soloists and orchestra and music of Tomás Luis de Victoria, Claudio Monteverdi, Heinrich Schütz, Felix Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, and Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov.
This season’s concerts will be Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 2 and 5 pm (Winter Holiday Concerts); and Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 8 pm (Lord Nelson Mass).
Rehearsals are held Mondays from 7:30 to 10 pm in Trinity Episcopal Church’s Parish Hall in Concord, Massachusetts (81 Elm Street, Concord, MA 01742).

Auditions for all voice parts will be held during two open rehearsals on Mondays, September 11 and 18, 2017, from 7:30 to 10 pm in Trinity Episcopal Church’s Parish Hall (81 Elm Street, Concord, MA 01742). The ten-minute audition consists of scales, ear and pitch memory exercises, and sight-reading in order to evaluate voice, ear, and reading abilities. A prepared piece is not required, but prior musical experience is expected.
