Wit & Wisdom is the theme of Cantemus’s spring concert. Joseph Haydn is the wisdom (Missa Brevis in B-flat, & 3 part-songs). Satirical gems by P.D.Q. Bach, humorous Latin/English texts set by Carl Zytowski & clever Ogden Nash poems set by Eric Whitacre supply the wit. Paul Ayers’s Hallelujah Chorus pokes fun at Handel’s original.
