35-40 voices, SATB, a cappella, now in its 37th season, offers exciting and eclectic concert programs to connect audiences in Greater Boston with the best in choral music.
CCS seeks out innovative programming and creative collaborations. The music performed is carefully selected from the last 1000 years of choral masterworks, from medieval to modern, sacred and secular, with special emphasis on Renaissance and twentieth century music.
We perform two programs per year: a holiday program in December and a Spring program in May.
Thursday evenings at MIT (Cambridge), building 5 room 233 from 7:15 to 9:45pm.

Part of the mission of the CCS is the cultivation and performance of contemporary choral music. Since 1997, the group has presented the Cambridge Chamber Singers Composition Competition, culminating in the premiere of the winning composition each spring.
