Is your choir looking to re-energize around its core purpose? Take inspiration from GBCC member choirs whose missions are a daily touchstone. We'll hear from representatives from Coro Allegro, Triad: Boston's Choral Collective, Voices 21c, and Mystic Chorale about how their unique missions guide not only their artistic programming but also their marketing, fundraising, and operational activities. They'll also discuss the rewards, and challenges, of creating cultures where mission is shared and debated.

Bach’s Choral Legacy: A Workshop with Ryan Turner

Ryan Turner, Artistic Director of Emmanuel Music, will lead GBCC members in a sing-through of select J.S. Bach chorales and choral works by those he influenced, including Mendelssohn. Enjoy an opportunity to sing for an expert in the performance of Bach and to make new friends! Open to  singers of all abilities, whether currently affiliated with a GBCC member choir or not.
