The Immigrant Experience

The First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton choir will sing John Kramer’s The Immigrant Experience cantata, as part of a service contemplating what it means to be an immigrant and how we can support refugees in today’s political climate. The cantata is scored for 3 soloists, choir, piano, clarinet, violin and cello. Also performing: CreationDance and the FUUSN Flute Choir. Free-will offering to supportĀ the families of refugees (asylum seekers) that FUUSN is sponsoring with four other churches and synagogues in Newton and Brookline. The umbrella organization isĀ the Newton-Brookline Asylum Resettlement Committee (NBARC).
