In Choro Novo is a mixed voice choral ensemble based in Weston, MA under the direction of Dr. Therese Provenzano. Performing mostly a cappella, the group presents a wide range of musical genres, from early madrigals and classical choral works to world music, spirituals, and jazz. The talented members, from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, are drawn together by a shared love of music.

Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7-9:30 PM from September to May at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Weston. We prepare and present the main ticketed concert performances (in December and May), at the fabulous Marsh Chapel at Boston University. Other performances are given at senior communities in the Boston area, and we are regularly invited to sing the national anthem for the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Celtics.
