The MIT Women’s Chorale, a 60-voice non-academic concert chorus established in 1933, is seeking a new Music Director to begin in September, 2019. The Chorale uses dedicated rehearsal space at MIT and has a 725-piece library of music for women’s or treble voices. Our members are serious about making music and serious about enjoying making music, as well as building a community around our love of singing. Rehearsals are currently held on Wednesday evenings during the academic year, but it may be possible to accommodate a move to Thursday evenings. Continuing our 85-year tradition, this position is essentially a volunteer post, although there is the possibility of modest remuneration. Parking will be provided.
