The Boston Choral Ensemble, one of New England’s premier chamber choirs, is currently welcoming singers in all voice parts to audition for its eleventh season. This season’s repertoire will include Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Victoria’s Missa Laetatus sum, Whitacre’s Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine, and Tavener’s Butterfly Dreams, as well as several works by British composer Judith Weir. If you like us, sign up to audition the next week (Tues, Sept 20)-- we are looking for singers in all voice parts. The December 3, 4 and 11 concert cornerstones will be contemporary American composer Byron Adams’ impressionistic “Trois Illuminations” and Charpentier's Christmas “Midnight Mass” plus many other seasonal works.
