The Best of the Beatles: First Congregational Church, 2 E Central Street, Natick, MA In just five short seasons, this community choir has created a big fan base who are energized by the choir's spirit and enjoy singing along to participate in the concert! Founded in 2008 by Artistic Director Paul Surface and Musical Director Chauncey Moore, the multi-generational and multi-cultural choir's repertoire includes customized and original four-part arrangements of varying styles including gospel, R&B, oldies, jazz, pop, Motown, 80's music and more. From bumblebee to firefly, from dandelion to fruit tree, in the rustle of the wind, at the edge of the woods, in the echoes across mountain canyons and in the warming embrace of the sun, we hear music everywhere. In this concert, presenting a variety of musical cultures and styles from Gershwin to Kodaly, from Ysaye Barnwell to The Beatles to Broadway, we honor the majesty and beauty all around us.
