Schola Amicorum is a Greater Boston's most experienced and venerable Gregorian Chant choir. An 8-22 part men's choir, begun in 1978, also performs a range of principally Early Music
performances
Schola provides music for Latin Masses, chant workshops, concerts, and conferences, and is Choir in Residence and the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, in Boston's South End. It is, as it's name implies, a Schola of friends, and includes inexperienced members with a keen desire to learn Chant repertory, and expert singers with 30 years experience.
