  The Oriana Consort
  Walter L. Chapin, Director
type
We are a small SATB chorale whose size varies from about 24 to 28 voices.  We both perform and rehearse a cappella.
repertoire
Our repertoire is drawn primarily from the Renaissance, the early Baroque, and the mid-19th century to the present.
performances
We prepare two programs per season. In December we perform the first program in Cambridge and in Boston's Back Bay, and in April or May we perform the second program in the same locations. From time to time we are invited to participate in various concert series in the greater Boston area.
rehearsals
We rehearse in Cambridge almost every Sunday evening from early September through November, and from early January through March or April. Occasionally there are a few Friday evening rehearsals.
