  Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus

The Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus comprises 180 student, faculty, staff, and community singers.
repertoire
The repertory of the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus encompasses music from the 18th century to the present.  This season's repertoire includes Bach's "Christmas Oratorio" (parts 1–3), Schubert's "Mass in A-flat," and motets by Mozart and Brahms.
performances
The Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus performs two concerts of major choral-orchestral works each season in Sanders Theatre at Harvard University.  This season's concerts will be Friday, December 9, 2011 at 8 pm (Haydn) and Friday, April 20, 2012 at 8 pm (Schubert, Mozart, and Brahms).
rehearsals
Rehearsals are held Monday (September to December) or Wednesday (January to April) evenings from 7 to 10 pm (beginning September 12) on the Harvard campus in Lowell Lecture Hall, located at the corner of Oxford and Kirkland Streets in Cambridge, MA.

Auditions for all voice parts will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011, from 1 to 5 pm and Saturday, September 3, 2011, from 1 to 5 pm on the Harvard campus in Loker Commons (basement of Sanders Theatre/Memorial Hall).  The audition consists of scales, ear and pitch memory exercises, and sight-reading in order to evaluate voice, ear, and reading abilities.  Auditions are on a first come, first served basis, and each takes about ten minutes.  A prepared piece is not required, but prior musical experience is expected.
