Saengerfest typically gives 4-6 performances a year throughout the Greater Boston area with most performances benefiting local charities. Saengerfest typically travels overseas every one to two years.
rehearsals
Monday evenings 7:00-9:30pm. First Parish Church, 349 Boston Post Road, Weston.
Auditions held throughout the season, but September and January are typically the best times to join. For audition information, please call 508-803-1909 or e-mail membership@saengerfest.org.
Prospective members are invited to join us for 2-3 rehearsals. If after singing in three rehearsals you would like to audition, notify the director and he will set up an audition time for you. The audition is relaxed and informal and consists of singing a well-known song, testing your vocal range, sight-singing and an assessment of musical skills. You do not need to prepare a piece.
