Open chorus; All singers welcome (no audition), with invited orchestra, professional soloists and noted guest conductors. Typically 50-75 singers with 25-40 invited orchestra members.

Four Sunday evenings at 7:30 PM. Admission $7.00 per person. Payson Park Church, 365 Belmont Street, Belmont, MA. Corner of Belmont St. and Payson Rd. On #73 Waverly bus line from Harvard Square; Payson Rd. stop. Return rides to Harvard Sq., Boston, etc. can be arranged. December 16, 2007 - Handel's Messiah. February 10, 2008 - Rutter's Requiem. April 13, 2008 - Mozart's Mass in C Major (Coronation) K.317
rehearsals
None! The evenings begin with a few minutes of vocal exercises followed by rehearsal of difficult passages and transitions in the work. After a coffee/cider break, the work is read through from beginning to end (sometimes omitting sections) as if it were a concert. At around 10PM, the evening concludes. This is a unique opportunity to experience important
choral works with full orchestra under various outstanding conductors. All singers with some choir or choral experience are welcome. If you are unsure of your abilities or are unfamiliar with the work, the presence of numerous strong singers can help you stay on track.
