Cantilena is extending auditions for our Spring Concert. We are seeking high sopranos and low altos, especially. We would love to have you audition for us; it is definitely not too late to join! We are holding auditions Monday January 25th after our rehearsal. We ask all auditionees to come and join us for rehearsal; after rehearsal, if you are interested in joining, we ask you to stay around for the audition. Rehearsal is from 7:30-10 pm at First Parish Arlington, 630 Mass. Ave, Arlington. The audition consists of checking your range, doing an ear-training exercise, doing a bit of sight-reading, and then asking you to sing "My Country 'Tis Of Thee."

Convivium Musicum is looking for a tenor with significant choral experience to join our 20-voice mixed band of Renaissance singers, which has been performing in New England for over two decades and is now under the direction of Michael Barrett. Convivium is known especially for the breadth, intelligence, and creativity of its programs and the expressive range and ensemble of its performances. The open rehearsal goes like this:
You'll sing with your section for the rehearsal and meet with the
director for a brief audition afterwards to check your range and do a
bit of sightreading from the repertoire covered in the rehearsal. You
may also prepare a solo to sing that you are comfortable with.

Administration Building, located at 167 Holland Street, about half-way
from Davis Square to Teele Square. It's a 5 minute walk from the Davis
Square T and parking is available. Enter the building through the

At the open rehearsals, you can learn about the music for the
